Claims Through Workers Compensation & TAC

The Osteopaths at Kardinia Osteopathic Clinic are recognised providers for the treatment and management of Workcover and TAC injuries.

There is a GAP fee that will be charged on the day of your appointments.

From the Worksafe website:
"Please note that payment of the reasonable costs of services does not necessarily mean payment of the full costs. In some cases there may be a gap between what the provider charges and what WorkSafe will pay. "

We have covered this gap in the past but unfortuneatly due to rising costs an increased level of reporting requirements the current fee from worksafe does not cover the full cost of the time and care that we put into looking after you.
The following documentation is necessary to bring to your initial consultation:
Workers Compensation
  • A letter from your insurance company, stating your claim has been accepted; 
  • Your claim number and the address of the insurance company, details of which may already be contained in the above letter
Transport Accident Commission
  • Your TAC claim number
  • The Contact information for your claim

Disclaimer: Please note that in the event of cancellation or withdrawal by the insurer, any outstanding fees will be the patient’s responsibility.
